CAMP HANSEN FESTIVAL

My first ever performance at the Camp Hansen Festival held on the U.S. Marine Base in Okinawa, Japan. From the high-energy atmosphere to the incredible crowd, this event was a powerful celebration of music and community. Join me as I reflect on the experience, the people, and the unique opportunity to connect through music on an international stage.

My journey was performing for the US Military Base, a project that opened my eyes to the powerful connection between music and the people who serve far from home. The energy, the appreciation, and the way everyone came together through songs — it reminded me why I do what I do.

Camp Hansen Festival in 2017 — a stage that will forever stay close to my heart. The lights, the cheers, the mix of cultures all celebrating life through music — it felt like the world stood still just to listen. Being there wasn’t just a performance; it was a moment of realization that music truly knows no borders. Every note I sang echoed the story of a traveler chasing dreams, bringing passion wherever the journey led.

Looking back, those first steps into the world weren’t just about performing — they were about becoming. Every stage, every country, every crowd has shaped the artist I am today. The road isn’t always easy, but it’s the kind of beautiful chaos that makes the journey worth every beat.

And as I continue to travel, sing, and share my music across the world, I carry with me every moment that started it all — that first step, that first song, that first realization that music isn’t just what I do… it’s who I am.
